If you're unsure on finger size/ring size, please contact me and I will be happy to discuss how to have your finger measured. If you supply the size of the ring please ensure it is the correct size for the finger it is to be worn on. A ring will be made to the size agreed:
- if a ring doesn't fit, I may be able to resize it for you although this can normally be by a maximum of one whole size up or down.
- if the design is asymmetric or has stones set resizing may not be possible.
- it will be at my discretion whether a ring I have made can be resized or not.

All pieces are made with recycled precious metals or SMO gold and all gemstones are ethically sourced.

Iain Sainsbury
Creating jewellery is my third career. During my PhD research I was commissioned into the Army Reserve and joined communications side of the Army, eventually commanding a Squadron before retiring in 2010.
Concurrently and after finishing my PhD in cell biology, I spent over 20 years in the global pharmaceutical industry. After burnout curtailed my career in 2018, I had a real desire to do something that had significantly less impact on the environment and more focus on creating something long-lasting.
My journey began by restoring vintage razors before moving into making jewellery with upcycled copper and wood. By 2020 I had taught myself to create more ambitious pieces. Since then, I have completed both the Fine and Advanced Jewellery Diplomas from the Jewellers Academy and have exhibited at Goldsmiths North. I live and work from my studio in rural South Cambridgeshire with my family and our two otterhounds, Tara and Willow
