Treasure - The Atoll by Independent Jeweller Joanne of Rockpool Jewellery

Introducing "The Atoll" from the Treasure collection, a one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted by Joanne of Rockpool Jewellery, an independent jeweller based in Tyne and Wear. At the heart of this ring lies a stunning Australian sapphire, complemented by a mix of smaller sapphires, including recycled stones, reminiscent of blue and green pools nestled between islands of 9ct yellow gold.

Key Features:

  • Centre Stone. Features a breathtaking Australian sapphire, the focal point of this unique design.
  • Accents. Surrounded by smaller sapphires, including recycled stones, adding a rich blend of blue and green hues to the piece.
  • Material. Crafted in 9ct yellow gold, creating a warm contrast to the cool tones of the sapphires.
  • Size. Available in size Q 1/2, designed to stand out whether worn as an alternative wedding or engagement ring, or as a cocktail ring.
  • Gemstone Treatment. Sapphires have undergone heat treatment, a standard process to enhance their natural beauty.

"The Atoll" ring captures the essence of serene blue and green pools amidst golden shores, offering a piece that is both timeless and uniquely crafted. Perfect for those seeking an alternative to traditional jewellery.

Rockpool Jewellery

My designs are inspired by the coast, crafted mainly using the lost wax casting method, creating pieces filled with texture and life. I use reclaimed and traceable gemstones where possible, and recycled metals. Each piece tells a story, maybe it speaks to you to mark a significant moment in time, or just to celebrate your uniqueness or love for the coast. Whatever the reason each piece is a personal treasure made with intention, to be treasured for a lifetime and more.

My studio is my place for creative escape and enables me to combine my two loves, the ocean and jewellery in all its forms. I create my treasures using lost wax casting and traditional methods, with a focus on using reclaimed gems to give them a new life, a new story to tell, and where possible, traceable gemstones. Each of my pieces are created to tell a story and to be treasured for generations
