Presenting The Ocean in a Drop Ring, an exquisite piece handcrafted by Joanne of Rockpool Jewellery, an independent jeweller based in Tyne and Wear. Inspired by Rumi's words, "You are not a drop in the ocean, you are the ocean in a drop," this ring serves as a reminder of your own uniqueness and significance.

Key Features:

  • Design. Part of the Treasure Collection, this ring captures the essence of the ocean in a drop, symbolising both the vastness and individuality within each person.
  • Material. Crafted from sterling silver, offering a timeless and versatile finish.
  • Gemstone. Features a subtle blue aquamarine, adding a touch of serene elegance to the design.
  • Handcrafted. Each ring is hand-carved in wax and then cast using traditional methods, ensuring that every piece is truly one of a kind.

This one-of-a-kind ring reflects the beauty of the ocean and celebrates the magnificence within you. A perfect piece to wear as a daily reminder of your uniqueness and the treasures found within.

Rockpool Jewellery

My designs are inspired by the coast, crafted mainly using the lost wax casting method, creating pieces filled with texture and life. I use reclaimed and traceable gemstones where possible, and recycled metals. Each piece tells a story, maybe it speaks to you to mark a significant moment in time, or just to celebrate your uniqueness or love for the coast. Whatever the reason each piece is a personal treasure made with intention, to be treasured for a lifetime and more.

My studio is my place for creative escape and enables me to combine my two loves, the ocean and jewellery in all its forms. I create my treasures using lost wax casting and traditional methods, with a focus on using reclaimed gems to give them a new life, a new story to tell, and where possible, traceable gemstones. Each of my pieces are created to tell a story and to be treasured for generations
